Postpartum is such a vulnerable and raw time. In t Postpartum is such a vulnerable and raw time. In the past I tried to power through, pushing my body too hard, and expecting everything to immediately return to how it was pre-pregnancy. But after six pregnancies and three babies I see beauty in this time. Beauty in my swollen womb that carried our perfect daughter to term. Beauty in my exhausted face that hasn’t slept in days. And even beauty in the bruising that covers my lower belly from medicines needed to keep her safe. This is motherhood. This is postpartum.

Ten tiny fingers, ten tiny toes, a sweet little sm Ten tiny fingers, ten tiny toes, a sweet little smile, and a perfect nose. Baby girl you are exactly what our family needed!

Newborns sleep 16-20hrs a day, Bella currently prefers only sleeping during the day when being held 😂

Miss Isabella Rose is the sweetest girl whom loves to be held and is not afraid to let you know when she is unhappy. Now just a few ounces under birth weight she is a great eater and loves her milk 💕
Both boys are absolutely smitten. Luke holds her and is the first to try and soothe her cries, while Noah has already learned her name and frequently eagerly calls Bell-ah followed by the sign for baby. Daddy too can hardly contain his excitement of adding a little princess to our family.
Isabella Rose 🌹 You have captured our hearts a Isabella Rose 🌹
You have captured our hearts and we cannot remember what life was like before you. Delicate features, a fierce cry demanding milk, bright intelligent eyes, gorgeous hair, and an incredible warmth where you just melt into our arms. We are blessed beyond measure 💗

We love you!
As the days and hours grow closer to when we will As the days and hours grow closer to when we will welcome this sweet girl into our arms, I find myself daydreaming not just about her, but about watching my boys blossom as big brothers.

If you have more than one, how did your child(ren) do when you brought their sibling(s) home?
